Nature, vistas and animals abound on the South Island of New Zealand. It is much more remote than the North Island and definitely a few degrees colder. My highlights included travelling as far as Milford Sound, hiking and sailing in Abel Tasman coastal park, carving my own bone Maori pendant, tasting whitebait fritters, my first time ever flying a plane in Wanaka, appreciating the beautiful glaciers, mountains or lakes almost every day, seeing birds, albatross, seals and sperm whales up close and personal, wallowing in thermal pools, tasting some Sauvignon Blanc and eating the most amazing seafood – lobster (crayfish in SA), mussels and abalone (perlemoen in SA). The lobster was bigger than I have seen in many years. Oh yum!!

Photo walk is an opportunity to take a walk with me through my ‘photo’ eyes. I often see the world through photos and love exploring my surroundings in this way.

with love, Delicia x
